During this evening band scan of the Shortwave and Medium Wave we find that it is more of a basic performer. Expect mainly local stations with nice reception, but don't expect a DXing powerhouse. This little radio does a lot for the price, and is an ideal portable recording device, along with being a great MP3 player.
