| PokerAid © is a gamers' assistance / training tool which monitors an online game and provides advice on how to
wager and play. The tool provides both statistical and game theory oriented advice, as well as monitoring the play of known
opponents from their site handles. |

| PokerAid © will initially handle two games - Texas Hold 'Em and Blackjack (left seat only), and will eventually handle all commonly played online card games. |

| PokerAid © has four visual formats: |

- In "Normal" or "Standard" format, the tool shows a reduced version of the game board superimposed with the gaming advice. This format is designed to be used in conjunction with an online game and is the default presentation on a single monitor computer with 1024×768 resolution or better.
- In "Reduced" format, the tool shows only the proffered advice. This format is the default presentation on single monitor systems with less than 1024×768 resolution. This format is only available in the event that the tool is able to scrape the game information directly.
- In "Toolbar" mode, the tool shows the same information as in "Reduced" format, but on an enlarged toolbar button, similar to the behavior of Windows Media Player when reduced. (The tool optionally minimizes to this format as well.) This format is only available in the event that the tool is able to scrape the game information directly.
- In "Full" format, which is the default presentation on a dual or multi-monitor system, PokerAid© presents a representation of the game board and a running textual commentary of options and reasoning along with the advice.

| Components |

| PokerAid © has six critical components: |

- Hand Evaluator. Hand Evaluator calculates the value of any hand and the statistical odds on winning the hand.
- Hand Strategy. Hand Strategy calculates proposed betting strategies based on game theory and known opponent history.
- Display. The display component shows the status of the game, the suggested play, and optional the rationale.
- Stream Reader. The stream reader component follows the online game to reduce or eliminate any required data entry.
- Game Manager. The game manager manages the current state of the game.
- Obfuscator. We assume that over time, the use of PokerAidTM may become something that online sites wish to monitor. The obfuscator makes it difficult to tell whether PokerAidTM is running.
